ARCA record holder and local driving legend, Jimmy Horton inks deal with Budd Olsen Speed Supplies, Valken Sports and Hewlitt Racing to give him an awesome team to race for victory for the remainder of the season. Jimmy will be on driving Bicknell chassis car powered by a Tony Fiel engine. Jimmy Horton began racing his father’s small block sportsman class racecar and, at age 18, won the sportsman championship at Orange County Speedway in 1974. Since that first championship, Horton has won a combined total of ten more track championships at Bridgeport and New Egypt Speedways. His career includes forty-eight NASCAR and dozens of ARCA races with seven superspeedway victories including two wins of the Daytona ARCA 200. While Jimmy continues to compete, he focuses his daily attention on setting up and repairing racecars. General Manager, Doug Olsen stated “In establishing the speed shop at 550 Bridgeton Pike in Mantua, New Jersey, we realized that we had to focus on the chassis before we worried about the decals.
